Notification Settings Management
Administrators can control which users recieve notifications for what changes.
For example, all TARP2 hazard changes can send a notification to all geotechnical engineers.
Step 1. Select the Settings button
- For PC and Tablets, the Settings button will be on the top left hand side of the screen.
- For Mobile, the Settings button will be at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2. Define Roles
- Scroll down to the Roles table and review roles (e.g. Open Cut Examiner, Geotechnical Engineer, General User, Admin,etc.).
- Add new Roll as required by selecting the Add Role button.
- Enter new Role Name.
- Select Create Role to save changes.
Step 3. Add new Staff member
- Select the Add Staff button to add a new user.
- Enter new users credentials (e.g. First Name, Last Name, Email).
- Select Add Staff Member to save changes.
Step 3. Assign Roles to Staff
- In the Staff table, select the pencil icon under the Edit column.
- Select the relevant roles for the staff member.
- Select Update Staff Member to save changes.
HazView allows the customization of notifications per role.
Step 2. Modify the hazards email notification settings
Once you have the roles your site requires, click over to the "Hazards" tab.
In the hazards tab, you can see which TARP ratings alert which roles.
In this example, all TARP2 changes will be emailed to the users with the geotechnical engineers role.
To modify notifications per role, select pencil icon under the Edit column in hte Rating System table.
