Hazard Controls
To ensure a hazard is managed safetly, Controls can be added.
Controls can include requirements such as stand-offs, bunding, signage and more.
Controls can be inspected at any time and classified as:
- Compliant
- Ongoing
- Non-compliant
Step 1: Access the hazard
The hazard can be accessed through the Map, Table or Home page, then select the hazard icon.
Step 2: Add Controls
To add Controls, click the Add Control button.
A dialoge box will open allowing you to add as many Controls as required.
Once you have added your Controls, select Add Controls to submit them.
- The Controls will be updated for the hazard.
- Users will be notified that new Controls have been added.
- Controls will not have an inspection status until an inspection has been completed
Step 3: Conduct an Inspection
Once Controls have been added, Inspections will classify them as Compliant, Ongoing or Non-Compliant.
To conduct an Inspection, select a hazard through the Map, Table or Home page, then select the hazard icon. Then scroll down to Inspections and select Add Inspection.
An dialogue box will open with requirements for:
- An Inspection Comment.
- A status required for every control (Compliant, Ongoing and Non-Compliant).
Once updated, select Submit. - Any uncontrolled hazards (Ongoing or Non-Compliant) will show up on the Home screen. - An email will be sent for any uncontrolled hazards, and notifications will be sent to relevant personnel in-app.
